Who are we

We are RP Studios. We provide the services on this website. We also manage this website and the personal data we collect about you.

This Privacy Policy applies to personal data RP Studios collects from you, through our interactions with you, through www.RP-Studios.com, websites under the control of RP Studios (collectively “Sites”), and the RP Studios services including all media, documents, updates, and support services associated with the Site and the RP Studios services (collectively, the “Services”), as well as how we use and protect your data.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to any third-party applications or software that integrate with our Sites and Services, or any other third-party products, services or businesses (collectively, “Third Party Services”). Third Party Services are governed by their own privacy policies. We recommend you review the privacy policy governing any Third Party Services before using them.

What personal information we collect and why we collect it

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the information shown in the comment form, the visitor’s IP address and the browser user agent to help detect spam. When you ‘like’ a comment we collect your IP address to prevent abuse and spam.

An anonymous string, created from your email address (this is also called a hash) can be sent to the Gravatar service if you use it. You can find its privacy policy page here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your response is approved, your profile picture will be publicly visible in the context of your response.

When you leave a comment on our site, you can indicate whether your name, your email address and website may be stored in a cookie. We do this for your convenience so that you do not have to enter this information again for a new comment. These cookies are valid for one year.

Embedded content from other websites

Posts on this site may contain embedded content (for example, videos, images, messages, etc). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly the same as if the visitor had visited this other website.

These websites may collect information about you, use cookies, embed third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with this embedded content, including interaction with embedded content if you have an account and are logged into that website.

Who we share your data with

We use Wordfence to guarantee the security of our website. For security purposes this service logs the website traffic. These logs are kept for 30 days and then deleted. This includes your country and IP address. You can find their privacy policy here.

Comments are monitored through Akismet, an automated spam detection service. This is to prevent spam and abuse of the comment section. You can find their privacy policy here.

Besides that we also use Arc Content Delivery Network to optimize, speed up and monetize this website. Arc’s monetization works by renting out a small bit of your unused bandwidth (for the amount of time you’re on the site and only if you’re using WiFi). You can opt-out at any time by clicking on the round Arc Widget in the left bottom corner. We believe that this is a better alternative to annoying ads because this does not compromise your privacy and also doesn’t waste your time. You can learn more about Arc here.

How long we keep your data

When you leave a comment, that comment and the metadata of that comment are stored forever. In this way we can automatically recognize and approve follow-up responses instead of having to moderate them.

When you use our website we keep a log of your country and IP address. This is done to ensure security and to prevent abuse. These logs are automatically deleted after 30 days.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request an export file of your personal information we hold about you, including any information you have provided to us.

You can also request that we delete all personal data we have about you. This does not contain any information that we are required to keep for administrative, legal or security purposes.

Where we send your data

As you can see all collected data will be kept temporary on our encrypted servers only and will be deleted after a specific time period, we will never store it permanently nor on any third party server. We also do not sell nor share the collected data.
